How many capsules are in a Protoflow bottle?
A bottle holds 60 capsules, which is 30 servings of two capsules. At the label dose it lasts 30 days, so a 3-bottle pack covers 90 days and a 6-bottle pack covers 180 days.
What is the biggest ingredient in Protoflow?
Hawthorn and epimedium tie at 250 mg each per serving, together about a third of the 1,531 mg of non-vitamin lines. Next come damiana and muira puama at 200 mg each.
How much saw palmetto does Protoflow contain?
Protoflow lists 84.5 mg of saw palmetto per serving, line 9 of the 12 non-vitamin lines. The standard dose in trials was 320 mg a day, and those trials found no benefit for enlarged prostate symptoms.
What are the other ingredients in Protoflow?
The label lists rice flour, gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, maltodextrin, soy protein concentrate and water. Gelatin and soy matter for vegans and for people with a soy allergy.
Is Protoflow gluten-free?
The sales page says gluten-free, but the label we read has no gluten-free statement. Oat straw is on the panel, and oats can pick up gluten. Ask the order desk if you have celiac disease.
Does Protoflow contain caffeine?

Can I take Protoflow on an empty stomach?
The label says with water and gives no food rule. Some people take capsules with a meal to avoid stomach upset, and niacin may flush more on an empty stomach.
What is the best time to take Protoflow?
The label names no time. Pick one you can repeat, and consider that ginseng can cause insomnia and niacin can flush the face, which some prefer to happen earlier in the day.
Can I take Protoflow with a multivitamin?
Add up the niacin and vitamin E from both. Protoflow already holds 75 mg of niacin, over the 35 mg upper limit, so a second source raises the total further. Ask a pharmacist.
What if I take too many Protoflow capsules?
Do not exceed the suggested use. Extra capsules raise the niacin, with stronger flushing. Drink water and call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 or a doctor if you feel unwell.
Can I open the Protoflow capsules?
The label does not say. Capsules are made to be swallowed whole, and opening them changes taste and timing. Ask your pharmacist if you cannot swallow them.
Can I take Protoflow for years?
No safety data covers long use. NCCIH notes no studies of hawthorn beyond 16 weeks. If you plan months, tell your doctor and ask whether any checks make sense.

Is Protoflow safe with your medicines?
Protoflow may be fine for many healthy adults, but it has had no safety study, and some of its lines can interact with common medicines.
The label asks anyone on medication to consult a physician first. The sharpest cautions are niacin above the adult upper limit and bleeding notes for ginkgo and vitamin E (NIH ODS, Niacin) (NCCIH, Ginkgo). See the side effects page for each line.
Never stop, skip or lower a prescribed dose because you started a supplement. Tell your doctor or pharmacist before you begin, and bring the bottle.
Will Protoflow change my blood pressure?
We found no report that it does. Hawthorn, epimedium and cayenne carry blood pressure notes, so if you take blood pressure medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.
Does Protoflow interact with blood thinners?
It may. Ginkgo and large doses of vitamin E can add to bleeding risk, and ginseng may affect clotting. Ask the prescriber before starting, and never stop a blood thinner yourself.
Can I take Protoflow with finasteride or tamsulosin?
Ask your doctor or pharmacist. If you take any medication, the label says to consult a physician. Do not stop a prescribed prostate medicine because of a supplement.
Is Protoflow safe with diabetes medicine?
Ask first. Niacin can raise blood glucose at high doses, while ginseng, damiana and tribulus may lower it. Your doctor may want you to check readings more often.
Does Protoflow contain hidden drugs?

Does Protoflow work, and is it legit?
No study has tested Protoflow, so there is no evidence that it works, and that is a gap in the evidence, not proof of a scam.

Has Protoflow been tested in a clinical trial?

Why does the sales page say no chemical coating or fillers?
It says '100% free of chemical coating and other non-essential fillers', yet the label lists magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and maltodextrin. Whether they are essential is a matter of definition.
How long should I try Protoflow before judging it?
