Protoflow Capsules: Count, Shell and What to Expect
A Protoflow bottle holds 60 capsules, and a serving is two with water. The label lists a gelatin shell, so they are not vegan, along with soy protein concentrate and other fillers. It gives no capsule size, no color and no per-capsule split of the 14 lines.

The count01
How many capsules are in a Protoflow bottle?
Sixty, which is 30 servings of two capsules.
At the label dose, a bottle lasts 30 days. The 2-bottle pack covers 60 days, the 3-bottle pack 90 days and the 6-bottle pack 180 days. All the amounts on the panel are per serving, so one capsule holds half of each figure only if the maker filled them equally, which the label does not say.
The shell02
What is the Protoflow capsule made of?
The other ingredients include gelatin, which is an animal product, so the shell is not vegan.
Alongside the actives it lists rice flour, gelatin, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, maltodextrin, soy protein concentrate and water. Rice flour is a common filler, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide keep the powder flowing, and maltodextrin is a processed carbohydrate. The sales page says vegan, which the label does not match.

Swallowing03
Are Protoflow capsules easy to swallow?
The label does not give a size, so we cannot say, and a pharmacist can advise if you struggle.
Take them with a glass of water, as the label says. Do not open or crush them unless a pharmacist agrees, since that changes taste and timing and may irritate the throat. If you have trouble swallowing capsules, tell your doctor before buying a 6-bottle pack.
Storage04
How should you store the capsules?
In a cool, dry place below 30°C (86°F), out of reach of children, with the safety seal checked.
Gelatin capsules soften and stick in heat and damp. A bathroom shelf or a hot car is a poor choice. A damaged or missing seal is a reason to return the bottle unopened. If capsules look sticky, cracked or discolored, stop and call the order desk with a photo.
- Cool and dry, below 30°C (86°F)
- Keep the cap tight after each use
- Keep out of reach of children
Allergens05
Who should avoid the capsules because of the shell?
Vegans, people who avoid gelatin for religious or dietary reasons, and anyone with a soy allergy.
Gelatin is made from animal collagen, and soy protein concentrate is a major allergen. The sales page says vegan, and the label does not support it, so the label wins. If you follow halal or kosher rules, the label gives no certification, and you would need to ask the seller about the source of the gelatin. A reaction can include hives, swelling or breathing trouble, which needs emergency care.
Fill06
What do the fillers do, and do they matter?
They help the powder flow and fill the shell, and for most people they do not matter.
Magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide are common flow agents, and rice flour and maltodextrin bulk the powder. The sales page says the product is free of non-essential fillers, which depends on how you define essential. If you want a capsule with no flow agents at all, this is not it. If you are sensitive to maltodextrin or following a strict diet, ask the order desk for the amounts, which the label does not give.
Next07
What else is worth knowing about the capsules?
That the lot code and expiry date matter, and that our label render shows no expiry date.
Check the bottle and box for both, and photograph them on day one. The batch verification page says what the seller's lot and certificate references are, and are not.
FAQ08
Questions on this topic
Are Protoflow capsules vegan?
No. The label lists gelatin, an animal product, and soy protein concentrate.
Can I take Protoflow capsules with a drink other than water?
The label says with water. Hot drinks and alcohol can make niacin flushing stronger, so water is the simplest choice.
What size are the capsules?
The label gives no size. Ask the order desk or your pharmacist if size matters to you.
Do the capsules have a coating?
The sales page says free of chemical coating, but the label lists several processing aids. We cannot confirm what coating, if any, is used.
