What do US rules say about testimonials?
The FTC says testimonials must be honest, reflect real experience and not suggest typical results when they are not (FTC, Fake celebrity endorsements).
The FTC's rule on reviews also bans fake and AI-generated reviews and buying positive reviews (FTC, Final rule banning fake reviews). That is why we avoid publishing invented stories.
